Biography:

Milan Vučetić is a graduate of the University of Belgrade, School of Dental Medicine, where he received his DDS degree. He completed his residency in Oral Surgery and Implantology and earned a PhD with a dissertation on “The influence of the piezoelectric effect on cellular and molecule mechanisms of oral surgical wound healing in patients with diabetes mellitus type 1 and 2”. Doctor Vučetić currently serves as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Montenegro and an Associate Research Scientist at the University of Belgrade.

 Doctor Vučetić has been actively involved in numerous professional organisations, including the International Team for Implantology (ITI) and the European Association for Osseointegration (EAO). Moreover, he was honoured with the ITI scholarship, allowing him a unique opportunity to spend one year at the prestigious University of Connecticut where he gained diverse insights into patient implant-supported rehabilitation. He has attended and presented at many international conferences and workshops, sharing his expertise in implant dentistry, bone grafting, and soft tissue management. His research interests focus on bone and soft tissue regeneration, signaling molecules, cell biology, and the effects of diabetes mellitus on oral health. Mr. Vučetić has published several journal articles and conference proceedings, contributing significantly to the field of oral surge and implantology.

 In addition to his academic and research contributions, Mr. Vučetić is dedicated to clinical practice, striving for excellence in patient care. His approach integrates advanced regenerative techniques and minimally invasive surgery, aiming to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction. His commitment to continuous learning and professional development is evident through his active participation in professional societies and ongoing research endeavours.
